Its our 3rd visit to Sahasrara. This itself is proof enough of how much we love it. The view is simply out of the world and the silence is stunning. The room cleanliness and service are really excellent. Going for walks, chilling on the terrace gazing at the mountains in the day and sky in the evenings is so relaxing. Stayed 4 memorable days at Sahasrara Homestay with a bunch of friends for a reunion, and we truly had a gala time. The villa is beautifully located, premium, and very well managed, with complete silence and no outside noise, a luxury in the hills. The Nanda Devi mountain range right in front of you makes every morning special, and early morning walks down to the nearby small village are a lovely, grounding experience. The place feels serene, safe, and untouched, with comforting home-style food that adds to the warmth. One small thing , there can be occasional power cuts, which is very common in the hill stations, but the backup system kicks in within a few minutes, so it’s well handled. A special mention to Deepak, the wonder boy caretaker, who manages the entire property flawlessly. And yes.. proper, reliable Wi-Fi, which is rare in the mountains, makes it perfect for friends and family get-togethers.

Sahasrara in Ranikhet is one of the best boutique homestays I’ve experienced. I booked 3 nights in December, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The property is beautiful, elegant, comfortable and extremely well maintained. It genuinely feels premium without losing the warmth of a true homestay. The location is exceptional. You get a crystal clear, unobstructed view of the Trishul and Nanda Devi ranges. Mornings here are surreal, filled with birdsong and absolute silence. The nearby village walks are refreshing, grounding and a great way to experience local life. If you don’t want to step out, the terrace, balcony and garden offer enough views to keep you mesmerised all day. The rooms are spacious, neat and thoughtfully designed. Big view windows, heaters, comfortable bedding, hot water, clean washrooms, towels, toiletries, slippers, tea maker, cookies, everything you need is already there. The decor is tasteful, modern and mountain appropriate. Service deserves a 5.0. The staff is attentive, kind and always ready to help with a smile. Food is home cooked, warm, delicious and customised to your preference. Just tell them what you want and they genuinely try their best to make it happen, despite the challenges of being in the hills. Safety and accessibility are clearly prioritised. The property is private, secure and under external CCTV surveillance. Parking is super comfortable. The walking path is foot friendly, and there’s also a drive ramp for drop offs just till the cottages, especially helpful for elderly guests. Hotel Highlights: Great mountain views, quiet surroundings, romantic vibe, family friendly, stunning location, absolute premium rooms, excellent service, good food and total privacy. We had an amazing stay. We stayed in a homestay for the first time but our experience was very good. Food menu could also be customized as per our liking ,just needed to let them know. Location was so nice with a beautiful view . At night one can enjoy bonfire along with your favourite snacks. All together it was A home away from home experience. Would love to visit again soon . Special thanks to deepak bhaiya for taking care and to the owners for their hospitality. 😊
